A walnut looks simple on the outside. What matters is what's happening inside. The structure, the pattern, the shape of thought.

Stands for Clarity. Calm thinking. Trust. Perspective.

Leaders live surrounded by noise, pressure, and fast decisions. Blue is the ability to step back, see the whole picture, and move with considered intent. It is the colour of strategic thinking done slowly enough to be right.

Vaso Vardaki

Before founding Blue Walnut, Vaso spent nearly two decades inside corporate environments — seven of them in senior leadership. That experience taught her what leadership actually feels like from the inside: the pressure, the decision fatigue, and the cost of carrying too much alone.

Her academic background combines Human Communication Science and Business Administration. Her coaching practice is grounded in both ICF and EMCC standards. From that intersection she developed HCOS — the team coaching method that now sits at the centre of Blue Walnut's work with leadership teams.

She does not treat leadership as a personality trait. She treats it as a system — and helps leadership teams redesign the parts quietly working against them.
